About Me
So you want to know the mastermind behind this website, huh? Ok! Hello everyone my name is Dan Jasnowski. My sodaplay alias is UrbanTwitch! My favorite color is green and orange. I am from Spain and I speak fluent spanish and english. I am mostly known throughout the sodaplay community as a rollercoaster maker. Reason being is that I made a lot of sodaplay rollercoasters. My current age is 16 and I live in Ohio.
Now onto some other things. I was brought into the internet by RuneScape. RuneScape was brought to me by my friend's friend. My friend, who was my neighbor, has moved away. My brother and I use to go to his house to play Xbox and PS2 games. Sometimes he would come over to ours. We played Smackdown or Madden or maybe some Halo 2. Anyways, for some period of time I was playing RuneScape, I only went to the Internet for that. Then I started exploring the net. I was brought to coding by PageTutor.com. I was brought to PageTutor.com by bored day in my home school. Then I started out with HTML proceeding to JavaScript, then to CSS, and finally to PHP & MySQL.
I am a Junior in School, almost done with school. Oh I also wear glases! I don't care what people say - I wanna see! I know, what you're thinking... wow this guy isn't very good at writing. While I do love creating stories, my english isn't as well as it should be. I am from Spain, so English isn't my first language. Which is why you see some paragraphs of different topics here and there.
Onto gaming, yes? I started gaming with Play Station. I bought the game Hot Wheels with the money my aunt gave me. From there I upgraded to PS2 till I broke it then it was to Xbox. Finally to Xbox 360 for Halo 3's release. The game I mostly play on Xbox 360 is Counter-Strike and Halo 3. I also play Unreal Tournament 2003 and TrackMania.
How I discovered sodaplay
How do I figure out about Sodaplay? Well I was in homeschool and we had a science assignment about gravity, friction, and mass. One of the links they suggested to view was Sodaplay. So I went there and played for a little bit. Althought I wasn't good at making models move, my best one was "TwoWheelsOn4Sticks". So then I found out about Rollercoasters. There the first few days I heard about It. I made six rollercoasters. My first Rollercoaster was "RollerCoasterRyde". Later on I kept making them better by making them through a series of tunnels, or up a wall and down. Later on I learned I had way much more fun constructing Rollercoasters then models and that is how I found out about Sodaplay
How I got into Moovl
Moovl is another story... it went like this. After the end of my rollercoaster making era I went to other sites/forums and hung around there for a bit. Then in July 2007. I came back to see what was happening and to my surprise they changed the Sodaplay constructor interface. Some of my old rollercoasters didn't work thanks to it and it was harder for me to construct. After a few days of trying to make one, I gave up. Then after some time of being gone I came back to find some new projects such as Moovl and Newtoons. This was when I first saw Moovl. I didn't think much of it at first and then after a few minutes of browsing I logged off the site and remained in the shadows for about a year. Then after 1 year of inactivity, February 2008, I came back to see how it was doing. Like last time, it was in the stage I left it. But then the gallery came up. I saw Ed's futile factory creation on Moovl and to I thought 'why don't I give it a shot and re-create something similar!". I did and Factory_Chain was born. Now not only did I realise I could start practing my skills like I did back in sodaplay but now I could do something in Moovl and I was back with the sodaplay community.
